Accessing and Joining Groups

Viewing Available Groups #

1. Navigate to Groups: From the main navigation menu, click on “Groups” or “Interest Groups”
2. Browse Groups: You’ll see a list of all available groups with descriptions of their activities
3. Group Categories: Groups are organized by activity type such as:
   • Book Group
   • Bridge
   • Walking Group
   • Wine Tasting
   • Bunco
   • Mah Jongg
   • Social Events

Joining a Group #

1. Select a Group: Click on the group name or “View Details” to see more information
2. Join Group: Look for a “Join Group” or “Sign Up” button on the group page
3. Confirm Membership: You may receive a confirmation email or see a success message
4. Group Communication: Once joined, you’ll typically receive group-specific emails and notifications

Group Features #

• Group Calendar: Each group may have its own calendar of events and meetings
• Member List: View other members of the group (if permissions allow)
• Discussion Forums: Some groups have discussion boards for members to communicate
• Group Photos: View photos from group activities and events

Managing Your Group Memberships #

1. My Groups: Look for a “My Groups” section in your member dashboard
2. Leave a Group: If you need to leave a group, look for “Leave Group” or “Unsubscribe” options
3. Notification Settings: Adjust how you receive group communications
