Walking

This week we will walk on the Mon River Trail starting at Terra Cafe. We will walk south this week so that we can visit the lower section of the WVU Arboretum where the bluebells will cover several acres of the forest floor. You don’t want to miss this walk! In addition to the bluebells, many other wildflowers are blooming, intermingled with the dominant bluebells.

NOTE- Tuesday will be a chilly walk with temps starting in the low 30’s…Thursday the temperature with be more moderate, ranging from mid 40’s to low 50s. Rain is not expected on either day.

Please RSVP on the website calendar before 7:15 a.m. on the day of the walk. You will receive a text update between 7:30-7:45 a.m. to confirm the walk or change plans if weather is adverse/rainy or other changes are needed.

**In case of rain, below freezing temps, snow, strong winds, etc. we may choose to walk at Mountaineer Mall- the old mall on Greenbag Road.
