July 8: The Sicilian Inheritance by Jo Piazza. Discussion led by Teresa Bock
We will meet at Melinda’s home. Teresa will bring some Italian goodies for us to snack on. The book is a gripping historical fiction inspired by the author’s own family history. What makes this book even more special is that is actually based on the life of Teresa’a great grandmother. and we might even get to hear from the actual author.
Aug. 12: When the Cranes Fly South by Lisa Ridden, discussion led by Ann Soderberg
It is also time to start thinking about books to read for the 26-27 year. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, it can be short story, poetry, fiction or non-fiction.
