We will also have a special guest speaker Linda Bagby. She is an active board member of the West Virginia Botanic Garden and is also a member of the Morgantown Newcomer’s Club! Linda will provide information on recent updates to the Botanic Garden, discuss current projects, and will let us know about future projects. We will hear and see information about West Virginia’s pioneering artist Blanche Lazzell whose works are featured throughout the garden. As time and weather allow, at the end of the coffee, we will have a brief tour of a portion of the garden where we can catch a glimpse of Lazzell’s work and view some of the new projects ongoing in the garden~ Q & A to follow
Please park in the gravel lot close to the education building. When you enter the garden, drive down the hill passing by the paved parking area/large event center on the right. Then veer to a slight left continuing into the gravel lot near the education building. The coffee will be here.
