You may wait, but the Membership Directory must be prepared for publication and proofread in early to mid-September, and you run the risk that you will be left out of the Directory.  Further, if dues are not received by October 1st, your website access will be deactivated and you will have to rejoin the club when you pay your dues after October 1st.
